The location was perfect: calm, and it was closed by foot to the city center. The breakfast was great, the old colonial house was charming, and the staff were welcoming.

“Funcionários atenciosos”

The staff were a delight, two gentlemen—one worked from morning until 19h and the other at night. They worked hard, greeted guests, cleaned rooms, and took care of the coffee. If you can leave a tip, they deserve it. The only downside was the stairs to reach the room.

“Confortable et accueillant.”

The staff were very welcoming, the bed was comfortable during the day, and the pleasant garden and view of the volcanoes were nice. The proximity to the highway might make some hesitant when arriving, but it isn’t audible from inside the hotel and hardly from the garden, less than the horns in the city center at least.

It was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Peru. The old‑type vintage atmosphere was really good, and the staff were very nice; Hermann was especially friendly and helpful. We could leave our luggage for a few days. The breakfast was awesome and the room super comfortable. We ended up extending our stay. The hotel was very close to the main square. We recommend!

“La casona es linda , gente que a tiende súper bien , falta modernizar mejor las instalaciones”

The staff were spectacular, especially Señor Germán and the other gentleman who were very polite. The facilities need improvement, especially the bathrooms which have poor finishes. The garden is beautiful, but it still needs better maintenance.
