Hotel Ammos Neptun

The pool was okay, though it didn't look like the pictures; the hotel is old and only partially renovated, with minimal conditions, the food is the same and low quality, the bathroom water splashes everywhere after the shower, and the smell is awful.

The place was quiet, and Mia was pleasant.

“Ammos, preț mic, satisfactii, o 🙂‍↔️ 🍉e masură.”

The hotel is seasonal, with three buildings, the best being building C, but that detail isn’t visible during booking. Breakfast, surprisingly, is better than at Doina, which closes at 9 am, and otherwise feels like a shadow of what it once was. The room was a temporary accommodation.

The hotel feels frozen in time for 70s–80s nostalgia lovers. They painted the room doors with a yellowish tint and installed a fake tile in the lift, which is enough. The internet, of course, doesn’t work, so you can read the Scînteia newspaper in peace. A terrible perfume smell everywhere from old curtains gives you an instant headache. The parking is unpaved among trees, which is fine—maybe a tourist could bring a shovel to fill the pit at the entrance.

“Sejur plăcut la Ammos 🏨 neptun”

Very well renovated, clean room, clean bathroom, hot water instantly on tap… Pleasant smell in the room, white clean towels. The restaurant was closed.
