I didn’t use breakfast. There were only two tables, and the nearby seating area was filthy. At check‑in on 9/15/26 the franchise owner, Charanbir Kandhola, refused to honor the confirmed Booking rate of $381 for three nights and instead charged $942, even after the property had sent a confirmation of the original rate on 09/12/26. Despite repeated attempts to reach the owner, I had to pursue legal actions.

We booked a three‑night stay during a busy Roundup event, but when we checked in we were charged a rate more than twice what we’d been quoted. The front‑desk gentleman was unhelpful, just pointing to the screen and saying that was the price. With a cancellation fee if we didn’t show up, a packed weekend, and no other lodging nearby, we had no choice but to accept the steep rate. Later, we were given a phone number and told the corporate office would honor the original price. After calling Wyndham corporate from home, they said nothing could be done and that the problem was with the individual hotel. We called the hotel again, explaining that corporate said it was a hotel issue. Neither the receptionist nor the supervisor we spoke to later were willing to honor the quoted price or try to resolve the matter. We decided to cut our losses. The rooms clearly need a facelift: holes in several walls, sagging mattresses that look years old, and a strong bleach smell. We won’t return and would advise others to find different lodging in Pendleton.
