“Mit knurrendem Magen weiter in die Rhön”
I booked this place for a layover and felt comfortable, but I did not receive the promised and paid breakfast on time, so I left hungry.
Nothing positive. The cleanliness and facilities were borderline, the breakfast is not recommended, and there is a lack of hygiene understanding in every corner.
The reservation was confirmed, but no one was there to pick us up.
“Trockensauna mit Frühstück”
The breakfast was good, the staff friendly, and the room was clean and tidy, yet at about 35 °C a south‑facing room on the east corner of the attic was quite "difficult" – blinds and a fly screen were missing, let alone an air‑conditioner. When I entered the room the inside and outside temperatures were almost the same. The motel did not inform me beforehand that the key had to be taken from a safe, so I had to call to get that info. Charging €20 for a dog for one night is pretty "considerable".
The rooms were acceptable for the price, but the breakfast was not worth its €14.00; it only offered the simplest baked rolls, a bit of cheese, sausage, vegetables, and coffee.
