A private balcony offers garden views, and the tent includes a fireplace for added warmth. The sleeping area provides one double bed, with an extra bed and a crib available on request. A stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kitchenware and a barbecue are provided for self‑catering. The en‑suite bathroom features a bathtub.
The most beautiful Karoo views were from the privacy of our chalet’s covered patio. We saw zebra, eland, giraffe and oryx. Plenty of firewood and braai wood were delivered daily. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Monwa and Nelly. The pet‑friendly environment was greatly appreciated because our dachshund suffers from separation anxiety. The walking trails were well marked. Nothing to dislike.
I hit a snag with the geyser—no hot water at all, which was a real hassle.
“Best I weekend ever”
The staff were super friendly, the house had everything we needed, the view was excellent, and I didn’t want to leave. Nothing to complain about.
