The room was spacious, well‑equipped and felt very clean, and the large public bath added to the comfort—I’d definitely stay again. The front desk, however, was handled by a male staff member who seemed a bit off, which left a slight disappointment.

From the outside the hotel looks a bit dated, but the rooms are immaculate and the bath is superb; it’s just steps from Minami‑Wakkanai Station, which is incredibly handy. I paid 30,000 yen and was more than satisfied—can’t wait to return.

The hot spring was great, and the room had a massage chair that made relaxing easy. The lock was old, though.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the air conditioner didn’t work, which is a drawback even in Hokkaido.
