The room only had a good sea view—nothing else mattered. The dinner, which was supposedly prepared with care, tasted awful; both the meat and fish had a fishy odor, and the meat looked fine but was impossible to swallow. After that evening, I skipped breakfast and went to a local restaurant instead. The bathhouse was fine, but the floor near the tub had so much mold that it made me feel uneasy while washing.

The rooftop onsen with an ocean view was the best, dinner was generous and high quality, and the location was convenient—20 minutes on foot from the station, 15 minutes to the mall, and a convenience store nearby. I liked the lounge where a piano played on some days. The room comfortably fits two people, and the green path by the ocean front leads to the shops. I didn't like the Japanese-style beds, the bathrooms are very old and need upkeep, the hotel has a slight damp musky smell that could be improved with an essential oil diffuser, and breakfast didn't match the dinner's level.
