The location is perfect, and our room was stunning - the award-winning marmalade at breakfast was the icing on the cake!
The owner of this place was incredibly hospitable and helpful - they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay.
The garden with its tiny pool was a lovely spot to cool off, and the homemade breakfast was a real treat.
The guest house was spotless and super comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing.

I loved everything about this hidden gem of a guesthouse—fabulous breakfast, clean and stylish rooms, friendly owners and staff, and a warm welcome and goodbye. Don't hesitate to splurge a bit and get pampered; we even used the pool in the middle of winter :)
“A great getaway to Prince Albert”
The GH Onse Rus was very comfortable and warm, and Leonard and Neil at Onse Rus went beyond expectations in caring for us, attending to accommodation and breakfast, and meeting all our needs. The town is full of wonderful eateries and plenty to see and do— the museum is a must for everyone. The spring flowers were appearing and the veld greened up after the recent rains. A great getaway all in all.

Leonard & Neil were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to welcome us and our 2 dogs!!! Very comfy and clean - would definitely return! Best breakfast ever! With fresh out of the oven bread made by Leonard not to mention his homemade butter & marmalade!. Can’t think of anything
“Very comfortable and beautifully restored property”
The old Karoo building was beautifully restored and maintained, with large rooms and comfy, warm beds for the child during winter nights. It was well located for accessing restaurants and shops in town, yet offered very peaceful nights. The breakfasts were excellent, and the hosts were very congenial, offering helpful suggestions and recommendations. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Leonard and Neil went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Leonard was amazing and communicative from the beginning. Once there, they helped us change rooms as our party grew, suggested and booked activities for us, and guided us back home through closed passes caused by storm damage. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and handcrafted with pride. The facilities were comfortable and homey, with high‑quality linens and luxury toiletries. There is even a resident cat that is incredibly welcoming. I will happily book here again.
