“Chill with the doggies!”

I loved the location, just a short walk from Main Street and the beach, and the hostel felt safe with everything I needed, including seating areas, water, a bar, and air‑conditioning in the rooms. The three dogs were amazing, and since I was alone I got to play with them a lot, which made my stay special. I was there during the low season, so I was mostly on my own and there was no social vibe, though I can imagine it would be better at other times of the year. Because of the lack of guests, no shared meal was offered, which I had been looking forward to. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were a bit filthy, and there was no soap in the women’s bathroom, but for the price I didn’t mind.

“Très bon rapport qualité prix !”

Robert is a very welcoming host who treats you like family; the place was pleasant, the location was good, about a 10‑minute walk to the beach. We were there in the off‑season, so we didn’t get to try the evening meals or activities, but we still had a great time. Plus, the dogs were adorable.

- Welcoming staff and cutest hostel dogs & kitten :3 really made my day - Free delicious family dinner every night - Nice hangout area/garden - Close to everywhere in Hiriketiya by walking but at the same time a quiet location - Felt like a good price quality ratio. - Bathrooms feel a bit outdated but serve their purpose
