25 m² · 1 large double bed
The setting is very beautiful and well planted; Monica is very friendly and gives good advice.
“Très bien.”
Kindness and welcome, the location, the calm.
“Super consigliato!”
It was exactly as the photos showed: a real gem! The place is charming, the apartment is tastefully decorated, and it’s ideal for a couple. The kitchen overlooking the pool is fully equipped; the bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed and a view of a small inner courtyard and garden (with a barbecue). The modern bathroom has a fantastic shower! We needed to check in early because of heavy rain, and they kindly accommodated us, even giving us instructions in Italian on how to get there. It’s just a few minutes from the town, surrounded by nature and silence. There’s on‑site parking for cars and motorbikes. It’s also great for visiting the hospital, Pisciagallo waterfalls, and Zonza.
“La casa che tutti vorrebbero in Corsica”
It was exactly what we were looking for to feel at home in Corsica—apparently very welcoming and tastefully furnished. There’s an outdoor dining table with a BBQ available for grilling, and the kitchen overlooks the pool. The welcome was superb! However, the directions sent by the owner via message differed from the navigator’s, so we got lost on a dirt road in the mountains and had a hard time finding our way back.
“Bellissima sistemazione, fedele alle foto!”
I stayed in a little cabin tucked into a private house with a shared parking lot and a communal pool that we had the whole afternoon to ourselves. The spot is great for driving around southeastern Corsica, close to Porto Vecchio’s center/port and a commercial area that has everything. The rooms are comfy, air‑conditioned, and Wi‑Fi works. Cleanliness was spot‑on. The bedroom fits two people nicely and comes with all the beach gear for a long stay; the bathroom is equally convenient and the kitchen is amazing! It’s stocked with everything you need, fresh water on arrival, coffee, a dish‑washing kit, a drying rack, and it’s big enough to cook for ten days and still eat inside when it’s bad outside. The fridge works great and can hold a lot for several days, with a small freezer on top. Outside, there’s a salt‑water pool in front, a small courtyard behind that connects to the room where we ate dinner privately and could stretch out. We had a great time… Monica, the host, is wonderful and made us feel like guests at a friend’s home, with her lovely family and the cat Perla who always came by; she recommended events during the national holidays and was super helpful with every request. We’ll come back soon! The only thing that would have made it perfect is adding a washing machine or a small basin in the courtyard to rinse swimsuits and clothes more easily during long stays, though there is a coin‑operated laundry a few kilometres away.
