The place had a clean atmosphere and a good location, but the windows let in street noise and the ventilation was poor.

The room was clean and came with a coffee machine, a kettle, and a refrigerator; we checked in at 2:00 PM. It sits on the –1 floor, and the window is sealed with external shutters that cannot be opened, so no natural light comes in. The hotel is quite far from the city center: the nearest bus stop is a 10‑minute walk away and the metro station is about a 15‑minute walk away. It takes roughly 25 minutes by bus to reach the Colosseum and about 40 minutes to get to the Vatican. The key for the main entrance door didn’t work properly, and the woman who handed us the keys didn’t mention this; we couldn’t open the door and enter the building. When we called the number she gave us, she didn’t answer. Luckily, a resident of the building helped us get inside and explained that the key simply doesn’t work well with the lock. If he hadn’t helped, we would have been left outside in the evening and unable to reach our room.

The host was genuinely nice, the bed was comfortable, and there was air conditioning. We couldn’t really adjust the AC, but overall the temperature was fine.
