I dislike the swimming pool, the place, the room, the people, the location, the lobby, the plants, the price, and the food, yet I just LOVE IT! I have nothing to dislike here; this place is the best.

We booked for one night, but upon arrival the staff and the owner greeted us warmly; Sir Ralph made us feel welcome and even offered some of his books displayed in the lobby. The room for five people was spacious and tidy, and the garden and pool ambiance were our favorite spots. Food and drinks were served, which was convenient since the place is far from General Luna. Casa Basa left a great impression on all of us, and we’d definitely return on our next visit. The only improvement needed is the bidet in the “Casa Guapa” room, which is quite defective; otherwise everything else was 5/5.

At Casa Basa you feel at home. Absolute relaxation after touring the island. Lyne, Ralf, and the rest of the staff make you feel at home. The room is spacious, water is complimentary at all times, breakfast is delicious, the pool is wonderful, the shower is magnificent, and above all, there is tranquility. They handle airport transport and vehicle rentals. A motorbike is needed to get around; we used a tuk‑tuk.

The friendly owner and staff, great pool, simple yet comfortable rooms, and a quiet location just outside the bustle of General Luna. Few negatives; the location makes it convenient to rent scooters or motorbikes, which the hotel happily helps with. The rental shop is almost next to the hotel.

The spot was clean and straightforward, with the owner and staff being friendly and helpful. The water and electricity were reliable, and the kids enjoyed the dogs and the pool, while everything stayed well kept.
