Our hosts, Daniel and Martin, were caring and treated us like close friends. We appreciated the little touches, such as a room with a lit candle waiting after a night out and an electric blanket already on. Coffee was ready in the room, the décor was stylish, and the bedding was luxurious—cleanliness scored a perfect 10/10. Breakfast with a view over the Vaal River was the perfect start to the day. Highly recommended.

“A lovely way to enjoy a weekend.”

The breakfast here tops everything I've had on the road; the portions are generous, the variety is great, and everything is cooked to perfection. We ate at a table that looked out over the Vaal Dam, giving us a sense of calm and holiday‑like serenity. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

Perfect 10. But, nothing is ever perfect but The Place Guesthouse comes very close. Daniel and Martin were exceptional hosts, wearing their heart on their sleeves, warm and authentic. Facilities and property beautiful, the art and decor breathtaking. And how can I forget the breakfast , yummy , scrumptious and homely. Loved everything
