The Single Room offers one single bed for a single guest. An en‑suite bathroom is provided for private use. A television and tea‑and‑coffee making facilities are available within the room.
We had a cooked breakfast that was very good, and the contental was good.
The room was amazing and spotless, giving me a great night’s sleep on a really comfy bed. The staff were always brilliant and never overdid it, and the breakfast they cooked was always nice.

The staff were friendly and the location suited what I needed. However, the room I stayed in had seen better days, with cobwebs, dodgy wiring, and I could feel every spring in the mattress.
“An excellent low cost hotel in an ideal location at the end of Lord Street the main centre of town.”
We enjoyed a full English breakfast that was excellently presented, hot and freshly prepared on a hot plate, available only on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. They also offered a full continental breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee.
“Really disappointing”
I’m not coming back. The staff’s communication was awful, and even though I paid for bed and breakfast, I never got breakfast. I’m reluctant to leave a negative review, but it felt right to do so. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
