“Stunning design, but remote with few food options”
The building itself is a real eye‑catcher, especially when the colorful lights come on after dark, and they do throw in a free shuttle to the nearby hot springs. The downside is that it sits out of town, so there isn’t much to explore beyond the hotel, and the on‑site dining choices are pretty limited. All in all, it’s a nice spot if you’re mainly after the design and the springs.
“Clean, modern hotel with limited English staff”
The place is spotless, the rooms feel modern, and the breakfast offers good quality and variety, plus the location is convenient. The only real drawback is that only a handful of staff members speak English, making communication tricky unless you can speak Chinese. Otherwise, it’s a solid stay.
“Cool design, but service disappoints”
The architecture is interesting and the building looks great when it’s lit up at night, making it worth a quick stop. Service, however, fell far short of what you’d expect from a Sheraton – the checkout clerk was inexplicably rude, the restaurant staff missed our order and we even had to ask for a clean table, and the rooftop bar was closed. The contrast between the cool design and the poor service was disappointing.
“Amazing lights, meh breakfast”
The night‑time light display is truly spectacular and worth staying up for. Unfortunately, the breakfast spread is just average and didn’t live up to the hype. It’s a mixed bag if you’re looking for both.
“Good view and bathroom, but chaotic service and tiny room”
The balcony gives a great view and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, even matching the bedroom size, with a TV mounted opposite the bathtub—a nice touch despite its odd placement. However, when we checked in after 4 pm we were told the room wasn’t finished, then later told it was ready, and the staff kept changing their story. Requests for a child’s bed and linens went unanswered, and the only bed we got was tiny, suitable only for a baby.
