The little apartment had a small terrace that overlooked the Tuscan hills, and getting to Volterra and the surrounding area was easy; the staff were friendly and the on‑site restaurant was a bonus. The pool was lovely and caught plenty of late‑afternoon sunshine, but the kitchen was missing some basics like tea, coffee, salt and pepper, and the upstairs bedroom was so hot that I ended up sleeping downstairs. The terrace we had was shaded most of the day.

The location was superb with great views, the Tuscan apartment was fabulous and modern, the swimming pool was well kept, and the on‑site restaurant was exceptional with memorable food.

L'emplacement est top, calme au milieu de la nature. La piscine est très belle mais malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu en profiter au mois d'Octobre. Il y a un restaurant qui permet de prendre ses repas à midi ou le soir. Le logement est spacieux, avec petite cuisine pour pouvoir prendre son petit déjeuner. Si je dois revenir en Toscane, je relouerai sans problème chez Guilia. Difficultés à avoir le wifi dans le logement. Il manque un micro-onde dans le logement pour se faire réchauffer des plats surtout lorsque l'on vient en automne où on a envie de manger chaud. Mais l'emplacement est tellement top que l'on oublie tout ça !

The restaurant was lovely and served delicious local produce; the setting was beautiful and I enjoyed watching and listening to the bells of the sheep flock in the early morning. The swimming pool was fantastic and having a self‑contained apartment was nice. There was no air conditioning and the fans didn’t provide much relief on the hot nights.
