B&B L’Angolino

A very nice room with a balcony, easy access, and good communication with the manager. I didn’t know the names of the bars where I could have breakfast, and I only found one of the two by chance.

“Deludente”

I liked the central spot and how close it was to the sea. The room wasn’t cleaned well – dust was under the bed, sofa and luggage cabinet, the AC was filthy with clogged filters that we had to clean ourselves for a breath of fresh air, a chandelier in one room didn’t work, only one of three bathroom lights worked and the mirror light was broken. Basic toiletries were missing – just 4 body lotions and 4 intimate soap packets – no hand soap, shower foam or shampoo. The electronic lock on our door was broken; we only managed to lock it after my partner fixed it. There were no mattress protectors, the sofa bed sheets were too short, and the sofa had no cushions, so we couldn’t sit. The photos promised an on‑site kitchen and breakfast, but breakfast was served at a partner bar 450 m away and that wasn’t mentioned during booking. We asked to reserve the garage, but a day before arrival it was told to us it was under renovation, so we had to park on the street.

The B&B was very cute, and Mr Pierluigi was very friendly even though we only exchanged a few messages where he recommended local spots for typical food. I didn’t like having to go to a partner bar for breakfast; the site photos showed breakfast on the premises, but that wasn’t the case.

The location was excellent, but the staff was awful – I made many calls for various issues and the service was truly terrible. The room was fine, but the mattresses were a nightmare, constantly shifting, and I ended up sleeping on the slats. The double bed was actually two single beds 😱
