Ariel was a generous host, offering plenty of great wine from the vineyard during our stay and two more bottles when we left. Magdalena kept us well-informed via email before arrival. The onsite dinner for €35 was excellent. The pool was fantastic, and we appreciated that the property didn’t enforce rigid rules like some others; we could swim in the pool until after 10 pm as long as we respected other guests, and Ariel was fine with us moving freely around the property and vineyard. The air‑conditioning units struggled to cool the apartments, but since we stayed during Italy’s extreme heat wave, this issue probably only appears during the hottest weeks of summer.
