“Miscommunication, hidden charges, and poor cleanliness turned what should have been a relaxing holiday into a stress”
The room was spacious and the Wi‑Fi was strong and reliable, but overall it was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. The beach and pool were dirty, and the whole experience felt stressful because the hotel wasn’t clear about extra fees. I tried to check in early and forgot to ask about the cost; I was tired and assumed the staff would tell me, but they didn’t, which was a mistake on my part, yet it would have helped if the charge had been explained from the start. The same happened with instant coffee – it arrived without anyone saying there was an extra charge. I’m fine with paying for extras, but guests should know ahead of time. When I checked out, I was shocked by a much higher balance than I expected because those charges hadn’t been explained earlier, adding to the stress. Breakfast was another issue: I was told it would start at 7:00 a.m., so I waited from 7:00 to 8:00 before calling the staff, only to learn that breakfast wasn’t delivered to my room and I had to go upstairs. Nothing ran smoothly, and the lack of communication made the stay unnecessarily stressful. I came to relax, not to worry about hidden fees and miscommunication, and I hope the management can improve the cleanliness of the facilities and the transparency of its services.
The location was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the whole area was kept clean. The parking area, however, isn’t exactly close to the building where the rooms are.

It’s the only resort around Sogod and Catmon that’s better than any other place to stay. I notice the staff are starting to slack off a bit and the restaurant’s food and service quality are slipping. The resort has good potential to become one of the best along the North Coast Road, but the little things make it uncomfortable: better bedding mattresses, a mini‑fridge and kettle in every room, a fresh coat of paint outside to combat coastal seawater corrosion, and a functioning pool pump. The shower drainage always overflows and needs fixing. To improve, build bamboo bungalows along the coastal wall so guests can rent them for functions instead of sitting at plastic tables under plastic umbrellas by the pool.
