The hotel is spectacular, the nighttime tour is excellent, the rooms are very decent, the views are lovely, and the breakfast is fine though a bit slow when making the tortillas, but still very good.

No need to leave the hotel to experience all of Monteverde’s essence—plants, animals, zip lines, professional guides. The windows don’t seal completely; during three cold days, draft was noticeable.

The location is good. The distances and movements inside the hotel are inconvenient, and they didn’t provide umbrellas in a rainy area. The room is large but not very cozy.
