The place is very good for its price, with just enough amenities, easy access, a moderate slope, and comfortable scooter rides; being far from the center is a plus for me because it’s quiet, and the host is friendly. The only downside was that when we arrived, the neighboring construction site was a bit noisy.

Everything was great, no air‑conditioning but it was already cold and no need for it. The owners were very attentive, always chatting with me and offering coffee in the mornings. They also drove me to the bus stop at 6.30 with their own motorcycle.

The bed felt just like the one at home, and the spot was packed with tiny Vietnamese restaurants; the hosts were super friendly, offered great tips for things to do and where to eat, and even texted me each night before locking the door to make sure I’d had a meal and was still in the hotel. Nothing else really stood out.
