We chose the cottage for its proximity to a family gathering, and we enjoyed a medieval fair at the Château de Commequiers thanks to our host’s good advice. The room was comfortable, very nice, with beautiful décor, excellent bedding, well‑located (close to shops and the center), and in a quiet neighborhood. What we didn’t like, but we laughed it off, is that the shower and toilet are separated from the room by a simple curtain… hard to do discreet “popos” (for the partner) ;-)

The hosts were very welcoming and had insightful conversations; breakfast was pleasant, complete, and homemade. The house was cozy with great décor and very quiet. Nothing negative.

We loved everything and more. The reception was warm, engaging, pleasant, and attentive; the room was comfortable, spacious, cozy, and stunning. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the paintings by our hostess had exceptional aesthetics. Everything made us want to return. No negatives; everything was perfect.
