We were left stranded when the host finally texted us that our reservation was canceled and the place was already booked by someone else. I’d been trying to reach them by phone and message all day, but got no reply. The booking still showed it as confirmed, so we ended up driving over 60 km to a roadside hotel. It was a huge hassle and a total let‑down.
