The onsite facilities were very good and exceeded expectation. All in all an excellent option for travellers back packing and doing the Camino Primitivo. So will recommend this property. Perhaps a later check-out - I was expected to leave at 08 AM. I do understand as there are many travellers on the way too. Perhaps could be extended to 09 AM

I was a bit surprised because it was my first time encountering such strict hours at a hostel. The doors closed at 22:30 and you had to leave by 8:00. I’ve stayed in several hostels and never seen such restrictive timings. I admit it was my fault for not reading the terms and hours carefully before booking. I understand there may be rest periods and house rules, but closing so early and forcing guests to leave at dawn really limits you, especially when everyone has their own schedule.

The beds were very cozy and comfortable, clean and tidy. It’s very close to the Camino. The staff were super helpful – I lost some items and they went out of their way to help me retrieve them and send them to me. Thank you a million times!

The hostel’s location is good for heading into Getaria’s centre, right in the old town and near the beach. The ventilation was poor and I got bitten by insects, not sure what exactly.
