The pool was amazing, very quiet, the welcome was charming, and breakfast was good.

The location and surroundings of the hotel complex were great. The rooms we had were well maintained. The staff was friendly. Walk to the small and very nice and friendly city centre is doable but dark at night. We were the only guest there for 4 nights and it was a blast. Very nice size pool with direct view on the river ! Beautiful !. At our arrival the pool was very clean but 3 days in it started noticeably turning green ! The complex was beautiful but be aware of the fact that transport is a challenge if you do not like motorcycles. Lots of dogs, the once at the hotel weee very nice but in some areas you may feel worried. The rest of the hotel felt abandoned but that may be because of the rainy season up north

Baan Krating Pai Resort sits right on the Pai river with a huge pool overlooking it; a scooter ride of 5 minutes takes you to the walking street, yet the spot feels quiet and undeveloped on the town’s edge. The staff were friendly and helpful all the time, and I loved every part of my stay. Thanks so much, I’ll return. 🙏🏼🌈❤️
The location was great for exploring the area, with Pai’s charming restaurants, shops and the Walking Street night market, but the place feels two decades old now. The cottages are damp inside, the bedding feels moist, and we even spotted a gecko, which wasn’t a problem for us. Breakfast was very sparse – if you dislike or are allergic to eggs you’re left with dry toast, jam and a bit of fruit. There are about six stray dogs roaming, the TV is a 30‑year‑old model, and the air‑conditioning quit on the last night when we really needed it. We had to keep the bathroom extractor running all night to reduce humidity. Nice spot, but clearly outdated.
