“A lovely gem in Orosi and a great place to stay to explore/ hike Tapanti. Beautiful area and views”
We loved our time in Orosi—escaping the crowds was a relief, the place was cozy, and the staff greeted us warmly; the room was comfy, breakfast was excellent, surrounded by lush vegetation with long views, a pool table, and a quiet spot atop the hill overlooking the town; we got solid tips on where to eat and what to do, visited the great Lankester Botanical Garden and the stunning Tapanti National Park, walking into the forest instead of heading to the waterfall road; everything was great, and we’re willing to drive through Cartago just to stay here again.

The staff were kind, the breakfast was good, the location convenient, the beds comfortable, and the terraces lovely; we couldn’t enjoy the pool because it was too cold.
The location was excellent and there were good massage options; however, the room was tiny and the soap and shower gel smelled like some kind of fungus, and there was only one breakfast choice.
