The room was terrific. However, there was no breakfast on site, and when we went to the bakery/deli we discovered there was no chef. This was terrible, especially given the place’s reputation for food.

The room was beautiful, the staff lovely, the pub downstairs great, and the location awesome. Our shower had some issues, but they were quickly resolved. It would be nice to have breakfast options on site.

The rooms were well furnished and the bathrooms were fantastic, with comfortable beds and a quiet, relatively cool rear room during the heatwave, and the staff were friendly and helpful; but rooms facing the road were noisy, the heat was sweltering, the fans were weak and noisy, there were no window screens so many mosquitoes entered, the stairs were quite scruffy, and the windows didn’t open well.

I liked the spot, the room was super comfy, the bar was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints – this was my second visit this month.
