I was greeted with a positive vibe, but the first room had a broken wall that needed fixing, and I had to move to a river front room.

The hotel’s closeness to the riverwalk and the variety of restaurants nearby were great, but there was no pool and breakfast wasn’t included.

Arturo met me at the taxi and proved to be a sharp, on‑the‑ball guide for the city, while Edison at check‑in was friendly, efficient, and quick‑witted. However, the coffee at the hotel restaurant was over‑priced at $7 a cup and tasted bad; the bathroom was cramped with leaking faucets around the base, no bathtub, and the river view was marred by a Trump sign on the hotel across from us. I also disliked the bar soaps being individually wrapped and the shampoo and body wash coming in refilled bottles instead of small individual ones.

Everything was perfect, from the location to the facilities, and there was nothing negative.

“Enjoyed the easy access to the city from this location.”

The view from my window was nice and the location was excellent, yet there were many sirens at night; it’s a big city, but the noise was hard to get used to.
