The hotel sits above the village, offering a sweeping view; it’s brand‑new, and the rooms are modern and spacious. We requested a mountain‑view room, but were asked to pay an extra 3 OMR to get a first‑floor room with a clear view of the village, even though we were almost the only guests there. The shower water was barely warm. Because there were so few people, breakfast wasn’t a buffet but served at the table with a limited selection.

The off‑road tour to reach the hotel was great. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were nice with a view, and everything was perfect.

The view was superb. The staff were very friendly, and the room was nice. Because we were the only guests in the entire hotel, we received an upgrade. However, even though we were the only guests, the staff failed to clean the table from the previous evening. The buffet trays were very dirty. The staff kept playing loudly on their phones. It’s a shame because otherwise they were very nice and attentive.
