There was nothing positive—rooms smelled bad and no staff tried to help me with a lower bed even though he had back pain. I felt I wasted my money and had no redeeming qualities.

Four blocks from the beach, supermarkets close by, and plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Public transport is nearby. But it’s not a 7.7‑star hostel—there was no toilet paper, staff were absent, cleanliness was awful, bed bugs were biting (see photos), and being on a gay street, the staff were disrespectful.

The location was great. The staff didn’t speak English and other guests smoked weed in the bedroom, which was a problem.

It was budget friendly. The dormitory was dirty, the bathrooms were unclean, and the kitchen and common area looked like a mess.
