The host was friendly and welcoming on our second day. The location is quiet, and we enjoyed our own terrace. We could use the washing machine. The stove didn’t work well, the pool was cold, and the bathroom had an old shower.

I stayed in a quiet mountain spot halfway between Latchi and Paphos, and the pool area was lovely. The basic studio felt spacious, with a sink, two electric hobs, a toaster, and a kettle. Free parking was plentiful. The local cats were adorable and wandered around. It’s a good base if you’re driving, but the location is far from civilization. Chloe asked for a 10/10 review, which felt a bit pushy and made us uncomfortable. We only met her when we left, and she ignored our late‑checkout messages. No local tips or recommendations were offered, missing a chance to help us. Towels weren’t replaced mid‑stay, and the bed was old, uncomfortable, and the mattress felt like it needed a new one. I had pins & needles in my limbs, and the sheet above the bed was dusty with spider webs, which was unsettling. The shower had limescale and mildew, looking pink and in need of a deep clean. We booked the family studio, so the road was right outside our window and the traffic woke us up; other rooms were quieter, so earplugs or a different room would help if you’re a light sleeper. Chloe, who’s elderly, does all the cleaning herself; perhaps hiring a professional cleaner for the bathrooms occasionally would improve things.

The accommodation was nice and clean, and the location is convenient for trips heading both south and north. There’s a swimming pool and a friendly cat.

The lodging had a very atmospheric feel, with preserved vintage décor. It was quiet and beautiful. Chloe was hospitable, and in the evening we found tasty cupcakes waiting in the fridge.
