“Ich komme nächstes Jahr wieder”

The location is super central, and the reception is the Weed Shop Stay High. I received a free joint. My room was brand‑new and clean. The beach is less than 500 m away. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave me many invaluable tips about Koh Phangan. I extended my stay and will return in the future. Thanks to the Stay High team.

“Unpleasant. Okay for one night, but better to have stayed someplace else.”

The spot’s location was good, just a 5‑minute walk to the pier. But the bed was rock‑hard and we barely slept. The bathroom and shower hadn’t been cleaned properly; trash sat in the bin and soap was still open. Bed sheets had stains, and there was no Wi‑Fi at all. Paying €33 a night felt like a steep overcharge for the low quality. The receptionist seemed unprofessional, as if she’d just woken up when we arrived at 1:30 pm. In short, it didn’t live up to our expectations.
