The room was lovely, quiet, roomy, with a large bathroom and a pretty garden seating area—perfect for an extended stay. Its central location meant the bus stop to Cap Ferrat and Nice was right nearby, and a pleasant 10‑minute walk through the villa district led to the beach. The reception was warm and the overall atmosphere inside the hotel was very pleasant.

The property was very nicely restored and clean. It sits in a great spot close to the town centre and restaurants, with a bus stop 50 m away, a train station, and the beach just a short walk away. However, note that even though the room has a nice patio with loungers and an outdoor table, you’re not allowed to eat any meals there. You can break the rule or ask for a plate and glass to drink wine and eat fruit, but is that really the point? During the hot summer days when temperatures reach 40 °C, there isn’t even a glass in the room—there’s only a toothbrush cup. Those items should be part of the room’s equipment.

The staff were very friendly, the location was great, parking was secure, and the air‑conditioning worked well. The only downside was that there was no lift.

I was welcomed warmly when I called to say I would arrive late, and the location in the centre of Beaulieu is close to the station and less than a 10‑minute walk from the beach. The old fin de siècle building was lovely, the room was spotless and fully functional.
