Hidden in a secluded spot is a star‑rated restaurant. We rarely had such good food, whether for breakfast or for multi‑day dinners. The host is an excellent cook and always cares for her guests. We have nothing to criticize.

The view was great, the place was quiet and the breakfast was solid. The only downside was that we couldn’t have dinner because all the tables were already booked; we really wanted to try the kitchen since the concept intrigued us and that’s why we chose this spot.

Roberto went above and beyond when my rental car broke down late one evening on the way to Al Robale. He picked me up and towed the broken‑down car (from Alamo—steer clear of them!). The next morning at 6:45, he even drove me to an important early appointment, since I was left without a car. Later that day, when I returned, Roberto helped me contact both the rental company and roadside assistance. Without his fluent Italian, dealing with them would have been far more difficult. The second night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Al Robale.
