Sunflower Guest House Luxor West Bank

I had a great time at this family‑run guesthouse! Youssef and Adam are excellent hosts and never push you to buy anything. The courtyard was very nice and relaxing, exactly what you need after the crowded Eastbank. I arranged my air‑balloon trip and drivers for the different valleys through Adam. I highly recommend. Thanks, gents, it was a pleasure!

The hosts were friendly, the place was clean, the beds comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the Egyptian food was tasty; the courtyard setting was quirky. It’s close to the ferry and ideal for visiting archaeological sites, and the hosts could organise taxis, tours, activities, etc. The locals were friendly. Overall, I was happy and there were no major issues.

The Egyptian tavern was excellent, the room was modest but had hot water, working air conditioning and good lighting, and it was convenient to a beautiful and cheap ferry service and several shops, a bar, and a pharmacy. The management was very cordial and could arrange any kind of trip. The room’s cleanliness was very poor, reflecting the neglected streets of the neighborhood (often unpaved) and the whole city. Taxis and street vendors were a little intrusive, even though the city is safe and monitored by law enforcement.

客引きが少ないエリアにあるため、ゆっくりできた。. ネズミの糞が壁や床に数ヶ所付着していた。シャワーはぬるいお湯しか出ず、夜が肌寒い1月に滞在していたためシャワー時が辛かった。すぐ近くにモスクがあり、放送があるたびに大きな音が入ってくるため、目が覚める。
