The apartment was luxurious and located in the historic center of Nardò, making it very convenient for exploring Salento’s sights. It was spotless and fully equipped; the cleanliness was exemplary, and the Baroque‑style furniture was impressive. It included a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. There was an outdoor relaxation area where you could enjoy your morning coffee. The host was very kind, met me at arrival, and recommended good, reasonably priced places to eat. Street parking was available right in front of the entrance. A pizzeria nearby served delicious pizza. Although I chose Nardò as a base to explore Salento, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the historic center—just a 5‑minute walk away—and the local nightlife. I had never seen such a high concentration of beautifully preserved historic buildings in a town this small. Don’t hesitate to set aside a few hours to admire the stunning Baroque architecture. I will definitely return when I pass through Salento. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
