Cactusberry Guesthouse

We really enjoyed our stay; the room was very spacious, and the beds were large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. The manager gave us many helpful tips, and thank you for letting us check in early without any issues.

“No thorns in this Cactus! Great Stay :P”

We stayed at Cactusberry in March. The location was perfect—ideal for exploring the city and nearby surroundings. Secure car parking put our minds at ease, and we immediately felt we could properly switch off and feel at home. The house is beautiful and has real charm. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were deliciously comfortable, and the shower was decent. Dorian, who runs the place, is a wealth of local knowledge and refreshingly honest in his advice—whether it’s where to go, where to avoid, or how best to plan your day in Cape Town. We were back to the house late after a few tours, but a couple of quirky local cafés, bars and restaurants were within walking distance—well handy. Other than that, breakfast hit the spot, and we were particularly grateful for the available supplies of water, wine and snacks when we came in late from a night on the tiles! Nothing else.

A super beautiful guesthouse with a lot of love for detail! Only very short distances to the sightseeing spots. Extremely friendly staff, very attentive and we felt very comfortable overall. The owner Dorian is always available with great tips! Thanks for this wonderful time, we’ll come back :)

The breakfast was great, the welcome and Dorian’s advice were helpful, the location is quite central, and there’s a cozy fireplace.
