The room was nice, but the breakfast package was a let‑down. I didn’t need the Vestlandslefse and milk chocolate for breakfast; I’d rather have butter and spreads, an egg, good bread, and access to milk in the fridge.

The location and parking were good, and the newly refurbished room looked nice. The noise from the technical room was annoying, and the breakfast was mediocre for me – a bag with an apple, yogurt, a buttered roll, but because of my milk allergy I could only eat the apple.

We booked last minute and our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we were upgraded to two rooms with no wait, which was perfect since the kids were exhausted. The staff were very nice and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with many options. The bus and ferry stop to other destinations is right in front, and there’s a supermarket nearby. Everything was great.
