Nightcap at Atherton Hotel

“Perfect for an overnight or weekend stay for couples!”

The hotel sits right in the middle of everything—cafés, shops, even a police station across the street. I stayed in the deluxe room without windows, which was fine for a single night. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap ready. Reception was friendly and the room looked tidy overall, though a few dusty corners slipped through. The biggest issue was the door: a gap underneath lets you hear outside noises instantly, and you can’t lock it from the inside, which feels odd and unsettling for someone concerned about security.

“Best Shanks Ever.”

The lamb shanks were an 11/10 experience, so I’ll be back at least once a week just for them. Housekeeping went above and beyond to meet every request.

“Overall good room”

The bed was comfy, rooms were lovely, clean, and modern. The rest of the hotel might need a renovation, and I was uneasy about parking my car in an open carpark.
