The staff were wonderful, and I enjoyed the evening noodles. The onsen was top quality, and the view from my room on the 9th floor was stunning. The room’s design was really appealing. I would have liked a smaller selection of dishes that were better cooked.

The location was convenient. The volcanic smell was overwhelming; the isolation was poor, so wind and odor seeped through the windows and ventilation, making it impossible to sleep at night. We arrived between 15:45 and 16:00 and asked to have dinner, but the staff said it was too late to reserve. We could buy food at their shop, but it was still inconvenient. The room was old and not very clean.

The buffet dinner and breakfast offered a nice variety of dishes. For dinner, we mostly ate from the buffet area, and there was also a shabu‑shabu station set up for each group. I also liked the outdoor onsen.

The space was soothing and lovely. I stayed on the 3rd floor, and it would have been better if the view from the windows were a bit cleaner. I also wish the scenery seen from the large bath’s windows had been more refined.
