The room was fine, but the whole hotel was shut down; only a couple of staff were around, and we were one of just two guests, so there was no one to run the roof terrace, prepare food, or operate the bar. We left and found another place to stay.

I loved everything the hotel offered—excellent service, friendly staff, superb dining—and I’d definitely book again. Nothing to dislike.

The room was charming, close to the market, quiet, clean, and safe, and the staff were kind and very helpful. I tried the hammam and massage—wow! However, my key didn’t work from outside; I could lock it while sleeping, but it stayed unlocked when I wasn’t there, so I had to carry my valuables every day. I also had to knock for up to 15 minutes at night to be let in.
