The location and the room décor (the crown in the Royal room) were nice, and the service was very pleasant, complete with a welcome note. On the downside, the shower was clogged and there was no tea spoon in the room.

The price, location, facilities and staff were all good, but the usual problems were present.

The staff were helpful and kind. The location was convenient, close to the river between the Euromast and the bridge. I didn’t need to bring my own bedding, and the sheets were clean. The room was big enough, with a table and chairs, a digital lock on the door, and large lockers. However, the bed kept moving and made noise, and the toilets and showers were not clean in the evenings.

It’s walkable from the train station and bus stop, and the common room with its yellow lamps looks pretty, producing good photos, but the furniture is old and not very clean, and the sofas are uncomfortable. I don’t understand why this hostel has a high rating. I found the kitchen in a fairly dirty state, with piles of unwashed dishes and a terribly dirty kettle that looked like guests were cooking eggs in it. Additionally, I stayed on the second floor, while the toilet and women's shower were on the first, and the kitchen was in the basement, with steep, high stairs.
