The homemade food was always delicious and lovingly presented, and requests were met, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The housekeeper is very communicative, friendly, inspiring, and has good people skills. A small light in the kitchenette would be handy (e.g., a tube light under the hanging cabinet).

This place feels like a home. We arrived as pilgrims from the Lutherweg, and the lovingly and thoughtfully renovated half-timbered house made the arrival simply wonderful. The evening in the garden with a view of the castle was something special! Thanks to the host.

A charming room in a nice location with a lovely outdoor seating area; however, the bathroom lacked towel hooks and the light sensor didn’t reach the shower, the room had no garment compartments or luggage storage, and we couldn’t have breakfast on our travel date.
