Tenuta Guardastelle - Agriturismo and vineyard

The property was gorgeous and the rooms lovely; I stayed in an apartment and adored it. They did a great job blending luxury with historic charm. Fausto and Sara were fantastic. Nothing to complain about—just go, you won’t regret it.

The location made it easy to launch day trips to any Tuscan city. Breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We took a cooking class and had a blast. The rooms were beautiful, and the grounds and scenery felt other‑worldly. We won’t book anywhere else for future Italy trips.

“Magical experience at Tenuta Guardastelle”

This place feels like a movie set—breathtakingly beautiful and unique. The bed was comfy, and the view from the room overlooking the vineyards was stunning. The bedroom style matched the stunning UNESCO property (ignore the pretentious and ridiculous review that called it ‘grandma’s house’—that’s absurd). The air conditioning was a nice bonus and worked well. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower, which was great after a dip in the pool. The pool looked exactly as serene and beautiful as in the pictures. We did the wine tour and lunch, which didn’t disappoint; it was good value for money and the owners’ passion was evident in every detail. We also had our favourite white wine of the whole trip at this vineyard, and sadly you can only buy it there 😭 I can’t say enough how grateful we are to have found this hidden gem, and it’s a 3‑minute drive from San Gimignano—where we also ate the best food of the trip thanks to the lovely waitress’s recommendations. The only drawback was that they can’t ship the wine tour to the UK!
