“Economical choice for Rechavia”

The spot is great for Rechavia and King George st., and the bed was clean and comfy. Check‑in was smooth and the owners were quick to respond, at least on weekdays—Shabbat details are unclear. Breakfast had a decent spread: fresh bread, cheeses, spreads, scrambled and hard‑boiled eggs. On the downside, the place feels a bit worn; the shower head and toilet flush need replacing, the front door lock was faulty so security was lacking, and the coffee served in paper cups left something to be desired.

I arrived at night expecting the room assigned in the instructions, but it was occupied by another guest—a classic double‑booking. With no staff or phone to help, I ended up in an open room, only to be told by the front desk worker in the morning that I wasn’t registered, even after confirming over both phone and WhatsApp.

“Good loaction, helpful staff, but mediocre in terms of comfort and cleanliness”

Location and the resposnes of the personel were great. The room was not satisfactory clearn - there walls were stained 9in particular under the desk. The desk was too narrow to allow working on The bed blanket was too thin and not warm enough

Opening the room door revealed a huge cockroach that rushed at us. The bathroom door wouldn’t close—it opened while we were in the shower. We were then confronted by a non‑guest woman who insulted and threatened us; we called the hotel manager and the police, only to be told she sometimes hangs out in the lobby (which has no staff). If that’s not acceptable, we were told to leave.

Breakfast was fine, Moti handled reception well, other guests were pleasant, the room was relatively quiet and accessible, and the front desk offered useful tips and cab booking help. The location was fairly central yet away from the main street’s hustle. When the front desk was available, they were helpful. Problems included no room phone to reach the kitchen, staff were only sporadically present, a puddle on the floor likely from a fridge I didn’t use, and a charge that appeared immediately upon booking instead of after arrival—an issue that eroded trust and caused my family concern. The site’s handling of this transaction was unreliable.
