Location. Beds are worn out. 1 washcloth for 2 occupants twice, none on day 3. No maid service on day 3. Sink is coming off of the wall. Bathroom door latch is broken and it can't be open from inside and has to be opened with a knife from the outside. TV didn't work. Big hole in bath towel. Barely any hot water at sink

I'm still trying to figure out how a place with such a great location for a BBQ joint can fall so short in every other way. The initial room I was given had a broken door that wouldn't close properly, and the sheets were dirty. To make matters worse, the bathroom was moldy, and the check-in process was a hassle because the manager takes a while to respond to messages.

The bed at this place was surprisingly comfortable, and I slept better on it than anywhere else during my trip. The TV worked, and the fridge and microwave were in good condition, even if I didn't end up using them. However, the real drawback was the complete isolation of the area - there was only one small restaurant and one small store nearby.

Check-in was a breeze, and the property owner was lovely to deal with. The location might be a bit out of the way, but it was comfortable for our needs. The only thing I can say is that it's definitely in the middle of nowhere, but that suited us just fine.

This place was a great find for me because of its location - I was able to work in the area without having to drive all the way to Lubbock every day. The room was clean and comfortable, with a freshly made bed and clean linens. The bathroom was also clean and well-stocked, and the TV and AC worked perfectly. The only thing I could complain about was the lighting in the room, which could have been a bit better.
