The host was extremely friendly, provided lots of information and support for our trip, the breakfast was superb, the dinner was a great regional experience, and the overall vibe was very pleasant; we felt everything fit together.

The location is great, surrounded by tea fields and a lovely little garden. The owner is charming, serving breakfast and dinner in his home, with his mother and wife doing the cooking. They took great care of us, offered many dishes in generous portions, and the facilities are simple but clean and comfortable. The downstairs rooms have a beautiful garden, and ours on the upper floor has a lovely balcony overlooking the tea plantations. If you’re in that area, it’s definitely worth staying here. The only improvement needed, common across the country, is that the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work very well.

The owner is very kind and, uniquely in Sri Lanka, made hoppers for breakfast upon request. The room is basic but fine, the little garden is cute, and the food was especially tasty because he asked what we wanted and cooked it well. Nothing else.

Dhammika was very friendly at all times and eager to help; the room was very clean, which was a top priority for me when booking, and the area is beautiful with nature around. The food was excellent. I disliked that things weren’t paid immediately and that I didn’t know the costs; later I saw the bill and felt overcharged. The 20‑minute tuk‑tuk rides cost 1.5 € each, but I was billed 60 € for two meals (normally you might pay about 10 € each) and six tuk‑tuk trips.
