Mold growing on furniture. Mildew smell in room
“Dirty Room”
Front desk staff were friendly, but the room itself was dirty, with people loitering outside and the parking spot far from the room.
The quiet atmosphere and smooth check‑in and check‑out were nice, but the hotel was far from what the internet showed; it wasn’t terrible, just not great. The comforter was unclean, the bed was sunken in the middle, the TV didn’t work, the door lock was broken, and the older female housekeeper was rude.
Daily housekeeping. Had trouble with the key; had to register it every day.
“I barely slept due to my feeling of uncleanliness. I was out immediately at checkout.”
The location was exactly as advertised, right off I65, yet the newly renovated room still felt dated and the sheets and bedspread had dried wet stains, as if the linen hadn’t been changed. Breakfast, included in the stay, was awful: the eggs were runny and the sausage was greasy, with the attendant casually pouring grease into the warmer without concern or care.
