“We had a fabulous stay at Vržina farm house. A peaceful retreat on the edge of lake Skadar. The family who run the farm”
The family at Vržina are friendly and approachable. The location is a bit tricky to reach by road, but it’s worth it. Being in the countryside, it’s very peaceful. There’s a small dining area with a deck overlooking the farm and vineyard, and the fish dish here is especially good. The homemade wine and Rakija were a treat—the red is very sweet but lovely, likely a dessert wine back home.

The winery is beautiful, overlooking Skadar Lake. It’s quiet. The family is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple and the beds very comfortable. The food and wine were delicious. The morning boat tour was great and informative. Nothing disappointed us.

The grilled fish dinner was superb, and the boat ride on the lake was also great.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay and the family took excellent care of us. We ate breakfast and dinner twice, each meal offering something new. The lake tour was very relaxed and pleasant, and the overall vibe was laid‑back and relaxed; I would definitely recommend it.
