The covered balcony with a hammock is huge, and the tours we booked through Casa Pelican were the best we’ve seen in Costa Rica. The shared fridge, safe, and AC cover everything you need on the island, and the grocery store is right around the corner. We even relaxed on the balcony in the rain with a drink. The only hiccup was spotty Wi‑Fi – only one phone got a signal at times, but it didn’t bother us much; a nearby café fixes it.

The room came with a comfy terrace, and the building’s top floor has a shared patio perfect for meals or just hanging out. When the AC in one room broke, they swapped us right away – quick and hassle‑free.
